In this class you will be learning how to quilt your fabric for a bag, cutting out your pieces and assembling this simple tote using bias binding. This is a great tote to make out of one of our new canvas prints. This is an open top tote bag and has no closure or zippers. Perfect bag for road trips or lake days or even groceries! Introduction to Foundation Paper Piecing (FPP) Learn the art of Foundation Paper Piecing in this fun, beginner-friendly two-hour workshop designed for anyone who wants to build new quilting skills. Whether you’re brand new to FPP or looking to strengthen your technique, this class will guide you step by step through the process using the Bella Accent Sleeves FPP Expansion Pack as our project example. FPP is a precise, satisfying method that allows you to create crisp points, intricate shapes, and beautifully structured blocks—no matter your experience level. During class, you’ll learn how to read FPP patterns, prepare your materials, sew with confidence, and troubleshoot common challenges. You’ll leave with a completed (or nearly completed) sample block and the skills to continue exploring FPP on your own.

Have a Stripology Ruler and only use it to cut strips or don't use it at all because you're unsure how? You will love this basic class that starts you with how to fold your fabric all the way to Flying Geese. These rulers are really great timesavers and make all your cutting and squaring up a breeze and this class will help you get the most out of them!

We're so excited with these new seasonal 14" x 15" wallhangings made entirely on the embroidery machine. So many techniques to expand your machine embroidery skills and all you need is at least a 5x7 hoop! Join us on the 2nd Thurs. of the month either in person or virtually as we make these tiled quilt blocks

We've added MORE retreat opportunities with the our NEW space at Quilting Next Door! These Girls Getaways are a no frills opportunity to come and sew with us! We provide ironing stations, tables, cutting stations, and chairs. Retreat will begin at Noon on Friday and you can sew until 10pm. The room is locked when we leave so you can feel comfortable leaving your materials spread out over night. Saturday the retreat runs from 9am - 10pm and Sunday from 9am-3pm. Quilter's Cupboard is always open to retreat goers and we offer a 10% discount to our guests all weekend long. Just $40 for the weekend!

We provide Saturday night dinner and drinks, as well as ironing stations, tables, cutting stations, and chairs. Retreat begins at Noon on Friday and you can sew until midnight. The room is locked when we leave so you can feel comfortable leaving your materials spread out over night. Saturday the retreat runs from 9am - midnight and Sunday from 9am-3pm. Quilter's Cupboard is always open to retreat goers and we offer a 10% discount to participants all weekend long, as well as a special shopping event for retreat guests only on Saturday night. All you need to bring is your sewing machine or needle and thread, sewing supplies, and projects to work on. We hold our retreat at the American Legion Hall within walking distance of Quilter's Cupboard. Hurry in or call to sign up! Please remember that your reservation must be paid at the time you make it. We are limited to 45 quilters for each incredible weekend

Join us for a another Stripology Rulers 2-Day EVENT with Master Stripologist Jennifer Halbur Day 1 - Learn to use the Stripology XL ruler while cutting and making the cool ZOE quilt using 10" squares, fat quarters or 1/2 yard cuts. No prior Stripology class is required, the rulers are that easy to use! Day 2 - Learn to "Stripologize" any pattern. Bring patterns you would like Jennifer's help with cutting efficiently with the Stripology ruler and tricks to make it easy to convert any pattern.
