Double Oven Mitt and Potholders

Potholders and oven mitts make great gifts and are so easy to make! The Double Oven mitt will teach you some great new skills such as working with Insulbright, cutting curves, quilting and bias binding (easy!) You still have plenty of time to whip some up before Christmas or use up leftover fabrics from your holiday sewing.

| Requirements: | Double Oven Mitt pattern ½ yard for oven mitt front and pocket lining ½ yard for oven mitt back and pocket front Fat quarter for bias binding 1 yard Insulbrite (will do at least 2) 1/4 yard of cotton batting 505 Basting Spray Sewing machine with extra needles, power cord and foot pedal Notions - wonder clips, straight pins, Frixion pen that will show on front fabric, seam ripper, scissors, rotary cutter, cutting mat and 6 1/2" x 24 1/2" ruler. |
