Using the Quilt as You Go Made Vintage book by Jera Brandvig, we will learn to make interchangeable blocks and finish with one of three Quilt As You Go methods, including a new reversible-quilt method that renders a secondary patchwork design on your quilt back! No matter how busy your schedule, these timeless blocks create endless possibilities.

Requirements: SUPPLY LIST -QUILT AS YOU GO MADE FUN 1. “Quilt as You Go Made Vintage” book by Jera Brandvig 2. Fabric to make four blocks from book or 6 assorted fat quarters will get you a good start. You can make yours scrappy or use just a few fabrics. Additional fabric will be needed once we figure out how you want to assemble your blocks. 3. Thread to match fabric 4. Sewing machine with extra needles and bobbins 5. Rotary cutter, cutting mat and approx. 6 1/2" x 24" ruler, small ruler is also helpful 6. Notions-scissors, straight pins, seam ripper (clover recommended), Frixion heat-erase pen 7. 505 brand Fabric spray adhesive 8. Bring if you have - 1/4" quilting foot and walking foot for your sewing machine (we can order one if you need it) 9. (4) 14” Batting squares either 100% cotton or 70/30 blend Before Class – look through the book and pick the blocks that interest you. Try and pick fast piecing ones for class or cut some 2 ½” strips.
