Beginning Machine Applique



Learn how to use fusible web successfully and techniques for stitching straight lines and curves plus getting around those tricky inner and outer points. You will also learn the best ways to trace your designs, place them on your fabric and more!

Requirements: BEGINNING MACHINE APPLIQUE 1. Count on It book – you can pick any of the Calendar quilts to make 2. FQ for background 3. FQ for faux border and backing 4. Scraps or FQ’s for applique pieces 5. 1 yard Steam a Seam Light 6. Thread to match fabrics 7. ½ yard stabilizer (either tear away or wash away) 8. Sewing machine with extra needles(anti-glue are wonderful) and bobbins and extension table if you have one 9. Notions – small sharp scissors (Karen Kay Buckley Med. Perfect Scissors are my favorite), straight pins, seam ripper, pencil 10.
