T-Shirt Quilt
Join the t-shirt quilt craze in this three week class. All aspects of the process will be covered, design, cutting, and more!

| Requirements: | T-Shirt Quilt The T-shirt quilt class is a general how-to to make a quilt. Each student’s quilt will be different, depending on the size of your shirts, how large you want it, layout, etc. There is no set yardage requirements for lattice and border, we will figure that out on an individual basis once we see what we have to work with. 1. Minimum of 12 t-shirts for a 3 x 4 layout. For a larger quilt, you will need more shirts. Bring everything you have and we can figure it out. It’s o.k. if your t-shirts are different sizes, I’ll show you how to make everything work out. 2. Shape-flex woven iron on interfacing 20” wide- Approx. ½ yard per shirt. Need Week 1 3. Creative Grids square ruler anywhere from 16” – 20”. Needed to cut shirts to size, ruler size will depend of shirt sizes. 4. Sewing machine with standard foot and power cord – Not Needed until Week 2 5. Notions – rotary cutter, ruler and larger cutting mat, seam ripper, wonder clips, Thread, Frixion pen, scissors, extra sewing machine needles 6. Fabric for lattice, cornerstones, borders, etc. – we’ll figure out what we need after looking at shirts, that is part of week one. 7. T-shirt quilt book – we have several great ones to give you ideas on layouts and for reference.
