The double-pull zipper and Joan’s innovative ‘Tidy Ends’ installation means the zip opens all the way to the side seams and stands wide open for easy access. Requirements: HARPER HOLDALL SUPPLY LIST – Please note pre-class work listed below. If you are not comfortable cutting without help, please let Cindy know and I’ll schedule a time to meet before class starts. 1. Harper Holdall pattern 2. 5/8 yard for outside of bag 3. 5/8 yard for lining 4. ¾ yard for handles, inside pocket, etc 5. 1 ½ yards of Stiff Stuff 6. 3 yards of Shape Flex interfacing 7. 30” double pull zipper to match 8. Thread to match 9. Sewing machine, foot pedal and power cord 10. Rotary cutter and ruler (if we need to cut, you can use our cutting mats 11. Scissors, straight pins, wonder clips, seam ripper, frixion pen, extra needles 80/20 or 90/14 Before Class – Cut fabric pieces, interfacing and Stiff Stuff per pattern instructions on Page 1 Getting Started. Fuse Shapeflex to front, back and lining pieces per instructions and re-trim to correct size.
