This introductory class will show you the basics of quilting with your walking foot featuring the techniques in the book "Walk" by Jacquie Gering.You'll learn how to prepare and mark the quilt, prevent puckers while quilting, and manage large projects. We'll talk about walking foot friendly designs including channel quilting, matchstick quilting and quilting with decorative stitches. With a walking foot, you'll find a level of control and success you never thought possible and you'll become as excited about the quilting as you are about your piecing.

Machine Embroidery Club featuring Kimberbell's new Digital Dealer Exclusive Wallflower Mystery Quilt for 2025! This session is from January - December with a new quilt block every month to complete a beautiful 30" x 48" quilt.

Join us each month as we explore the features and stitch possibilities on our Baby Lock sergers. This club is for anyone with a 4 thread or 8 thread serger. We've added MORE retreat opportunities with the our NEW space at Quilting Next Door! These Girls Getaways are a no frills opportunity to come and sew with us! We provide ironing stations, tables, cutting stations, and chairs. Retreat will begin at Noon on Friday and you can sew until 10pm. The room is locked when we leave so you can feel comfortable leaving your materials spread out over night. Saturday the retreat runs from 9am - 10pm and Sunday from 9am-3pm. Quilter's Cupboard is always open to retreat goers and we offer a 10% discount to our guests all weekend long. Just $40 for the weekend!

We're bringing back one of our favorite events -Purse Party! It started in 2013 and has been an annual event until Covid but it's time to get back to the fun! Stop in for some great demos and show-and tell about our favorite purse patterns and accessories.? We will be showing off some great new patterns, Staff favorites, as well as some "oldies but goodies". Our store "Purse-a-nalities" will be demonstrating some of the techniques and tools used in making these fun purses and bags. Every attendee receives a FREE pattern! Reserve your spot today.

Quilting Retreats are a fun way to get together with friends (and soon to be friends) and sew away the weekend Work on projects you have or start something new - it's up to you! We provide Saturday night dinner and drinks, as well as ironing stations, tables, cutting stations, and chairs. Retreat begins at Noon on Friday and you can sew until midnight. The room is locked when we leave so you can feel comfortable leaving your materials spread out over night. Saturday the retreat runs from 9am - midnight and Sunday from 9am-3pm. Quilter's Cupboard is always open to retreat goers and we offer a 10% discount to participants all weekend long, as well as a special shopping event for retreat guests only on Saturday night. All you need to bring is your sewing machine or needle and thread, sewing supplies, and projects to work on. We hold our retreat at the American Legion Hall within walking distance of Quilter's Cupboard. Hurry in or call to sign up! Please remember that your reservation must be paid at the time you make it. We are limited to 45 quilters for each incredible weekend
