Summer 2011This is my favorite time of the year with all the new holiday fabrics coming in and then figuring out what to make. Nancy Halvorsen’s new book is darling and her fabric line that goes with in really cute. I’m making the store samples now and the jingle bell embellishments are the perfect touch!
Whimsicals new line for Christmas is a must-have and Trina has designed a quilt that really showcases the beautiful prints. Don’t miss the Santa faces fabric, and the other novelty pieces that almost look edible. Sweetwater’s Countdown to Christmas and Jovial, both from Moda are selling fast and I haven’t even started on the great Halloween fabrics. Terry Atkinson’s new patterns are fun, the wine/lunch bag was perfect for vinyl or cotton fabrics.
