This very popular club is back for another session that runs April - Sept. We focus on projects that are fun, easy and make us happy. Cindy will show you new techniques, fabrics, patterns and each month and you might even get a free pattern. Club lasts about 1 hour and meets 1st Friday of the month at 10:30 am. $5 per month

This two-week series is for the absolute beginner and those who need a refresher. The course will cover casting on, knit, purl, simple stitch patterns, increase, decrease, fixing simple mistakes and binding off. Our project will be a dishcloth out of cotton yarn. KND: BULKY MOEBIUS COWL

Here’s a quick project that you can accomplish in an evening, using bulky yarn. The Bulky Moebius Cowl knits up in a flash and works wonders in the cold winter months! Knit a short cowl to wrap around your neck or double it to wrap around your neck and over your ears. The Moebius cast-on and knitting is pretty simple, once you get it started correctly. Don’t you hate that everyone tells you to do a gauge swatch before you start your project? It seems like such a waste of good knitting time. But, you want your project to fit perfectly. Come join Jean to learn how and why it’s so important to make a gauge swatch and be able to measure it accurately. KND: HELIX HAT

Ready to try some easy color work? Here’s the perfect way to start. We’ll use a color technique called Helix to create a three-color hat. Make a Christmas hat for your children, grandchildren, or favorite friends using red, white, and green. We’ll learn this easy color process in one two-hour class. KND: KNIT-A-LONG BUILDING IN COLOR KNIT AFGHAN

Join us for a new knit-a-long using the Building in Color book by Michelle Hunter. This eleven-month knit-a-long will be offered one Tuesday a month, in the daytime from 1-3pm and in the evening 5:00-7:00pm. Starts September 23rd or 30th. KND: MAGIC LOOP TOE-UP SOCKS (2 AT A TIME)

This class will teach you how to make socks using the magic loop method from the toe up. Both socks are made at the same time. You will learn the Turkish cast-on for a seamless toe, a very simple short-row heel method, and Elizabeth Zimmerman’s Sewn bind off. We will be using the Crochet One-Skein Wonders book and focusing on smaller projects and new techniques. Each month showcases a project using a different weight yarn and different stitches. This class is perfect to advance or freshen up your crochet skills.
